Charlie Rutledge Competition

Updated: Mar 21, 2021

At last week’s meeting former Club President and founding member of the club, Peter Wilkin, fondly remembered fellow founding member Charlie Rutledge as he introduced the evening. Over the years, Charlie did much to advance the club and shared his expertise with all who would listen and learn. His great passion was mono prints and since his passing in 2016 a competition has been held each year in his memory. Peter kindly agreed to judge the images which had been submitted for this special evening. The results are as follows:-

First; Terry Hanna. Second; Keith Wilson. Third; Terry Hanna. Highly commended; Frances Price. Commended; John McCullough

This week’s meeting will see a new venture when club members have been asked to produce a panel of six images which may be on a theme or there may be no connection between them at all. The only criterion is that they should look well when displayed together.
