Judge Terry chooses the winners!

At last week’s meeting, Terry Hanna had the unenviable task of judging the annual Novice competition. This was open to all club members who have yet to gain two stars in NIPA competitions. The results are as follows:-

Mono. First: Brian Blakely, Second: Carole Hawthorne, Third: John Knipe, Highly commended: Jock Mullan, Commended: Angela McCullagh.

Colour. First: Dougie McCart, Second: Angela McCullagh, Third: Jock Mullan, Highly Commended: Linda McMullan, Commended: Linda McMullan.

Thanks for giving such a good critique on all the images Terry - not an easy task, but you did it well.

At this week’s meeting there will be two visiting speakers. Colm McMullan has an extensive portfolio that accompanies his interest in fell running, landscapes and has recently started astro and automobile photography. Robert Macaskill works mainly in the genre of Urbex and hosts a Facebook page called "Urbex : forgotten ulster" with more than 7000 followers. This promises to be a very informative and entertaining evening.
