Six members had volunteered to swap unedited images and each work on another person's to see what they would make of them and also compare with what the real author had done. This proved to be a very interesting and fun exercise. In some cases the same image was edited in very different ways but in other cases the two versions were quite similar. Each person outlined the main steps they had taken to arrive at the final version and shared some Photoshop and Lightroom tricks.
Next week will see the judging of images for Round 4 which has a theme of Human Impact on the Environment. An external judge will give his verdict on the images and it is hoped that the club can retain their current standing of 3rd place out of all the Northern Ireland Photographic Association clubs, when the best images go forward to NIPA for further judging in February.
