What do these knobs do?

Last Thursday evening the Members met for a “Camera Hands On Night”. Everyone had brought their own cameras and Chairman, Terry Hanna, gave a brief overview of many of the settings, where to find them and what they do. Then members divided up into groups with more advanced members helping newer members. Members were encouraged to take photos and try out different settings. It proved a great way for everyone to learn something they didn’t know before!

At this week’s meeting, club members Alan Chowney and Gary Cowan will share their knowledge of the exposure triangle and the club’s new website.

Members are also reminded that Thursday 19 September is the deadline for submitting prints and PDIs for Round 1 of the NIPA Competition. The judging for this open competition will take place the following week.

I'm sure someone could come with a witty caption for this photo!!
